The Path to Prayer: Part 5: Keep Inner Stillness Q&A

The Path to Prayer

The Path to Prayer: Do Not React, Do Not Resent, Keep Inner Stillness

This is the 5th part of a lecture series given by Fr. Jonah, abbot of the monastery of St. John of Shanghai and San Francisco. It is a question and answer session from the third session–Keep Inner Stillness

Do Not React, Do Not Resent, Keep Inner Stillness— these three principles are really a summation of the Philokalia, the collection of Orthodox Christian wisdom.

These disciplines are for everyone to practice and Fr. Jonah gives real life examples to translate this Christian practice into reality.

  1. Is this series going to be available on Itunes? I’d love to be able to listen to it on my ipod.

  2. This whole series should be compiled to 5 cd set that churches should offer in bookstore. Amazing stuff but you have to invest the time to listen carefully to what Fr. is saying. Highly recommended!

I would also love to see a “cliff notes” version that was a compilation / sampling of this series… maybe could be broken down into 1 cd.

Maybe I’ll try to do this????

    Later
    Matt C.
