Intro to Orthodoxy, Part 7 - Abp. Lazar

Archbishop Lazar disusses why Orthodox don’t hold hands when they pray and stand in a circle.  He also speaks briefly about the newly released Orthodox Study Bible and suggests what he believes is the best New Testament translation from the Greek sold by HOLY APOSTLES CONVENT.

How is one to read the Old Testament?  This and other topics are discussed.  The video will cut off due to time constraints.  All the more reason to wait for, and watch the next installment.

  1. The patristic notes in the Holy Apostles convent text may be fine, but the translation is one of the most horrible examples one could point to in the English Language. See: http://pages.prodigy.net/frjohnwhiteford/translations.htm
